Overview
– With Emma Twyford –
Performance anxiety is often seen as a “make it or break it” situation. Some people excel under pressure, while others relentlessly avoid any kind of competitive situation (either between people, i.e competitions; or with themselves, like when projecting).
The Performance Anxiety webinar consists in three phases:
1. You will be given theoretical strategies to reduce your anxiety and improve your focus during pressure situations. These include thought management strategies, self-talk, eye-movement patterns and relaxation techniques.
2. You will have the possibility to apply them in a pressured setting.
3. You will be given strategies on recording your thoughts so that you can track and analyse them to see if anything is having a negative or positive impact on your climbing or general day to day life.
4. A half an hour Q&A’s session – an opportunity to ask questions and receive advice
Join us for this comprehensive webinar and learn to deal with performance anxiety in your climbing. Learn to deal with pressure situations, whether competing, working projects, or climbing in front of others. We will provide you with the knowledge and inspiration to reach new heights.
